About ONM

Otaku No Manga focuses on, at its start, a three member evil organization called Sideways. The members, Eek, Deena, and Relick, are characters based off real people, but the events are(most of the time) fictitious. The plot? What plot? I geuss Sideways's goal could count as a plot. Some would say Sideways works to take over the universe, but according to its members, they've already taken over the universe, all they have to do now is let everyone know it.

About Deena, the Author

Hey, my own bio!:3 Okay, well, I've recently been released from junior year in high school and frankly, I'm quite relieved. Projects this, proficiency tests that. Anyway, I digress. In the comic, Deena is an aspiring mangaka/self proclaimed evil genius, and second only to Eek in rank in Sideways. In real life, I'm a doodling-in-math-class-internet-junkie-fanfic-writing-fanart-doodlin'-RPGing-game-freak-otaku girl. I founded my school's anime club, Otaku Syndicate, after some coaxing from my friends, who appointed me president because it was my idea.-.-;; I'm 17, and getting my license (hopefully) over the summer, and I have an undying love for Pokemon, plushies, and Pokemon plushies. Shush, they're cute. If you be so brave as to denounce them, I'll eat you.>:3 Currently, my favorite anime is Full Moon Wo Sagashite. Izumi-kun!X3!!!!

About Eek, the Leader of Sideways

Eek's mah buddy, Deena's best friend and boss in the comic. In real life, she's my real-life best budd3h, and an otaku with this borderline mental institution worthy obsession with Evangelion. It's almost as bad as my thing with Kingdom Hearts(I'll be over it as soon as I beat Sephroith! Promise!^.^;;). She's also a junior in high school, and would be an awesome writer if she'd only finish her fics. (*nudges Eek*) Get the hint yet?

About Relick, the Warrior of Sideways

In the comic, Relick is a warrior, hunting dragons and getting Nestea for her leader, Eek. As third in command in Sideways, she is the commandor of the Sideways Army. W00t. In real life, Relick's an aspiring Broadway star who loves to act and sing. She's a junior in high school and obsesses over Yu Yu Hakusho and Inuyasha. She also likes to draw, and she's working on making guest strips for OTM. I'll put them up as soon as she sends them to me.=^.^=

About Linxie, a Future Sideways Member

Don't wanna give away too much, so you'll see when I get to that comic.^.^;; Just a little note, Linxie's one of three entirely ficticious members of Sideways. The other two are Sumomo and Momo, Deena's miniature humanoid robots. They don't have much to do with the story yet, but they will eventually.^.^;;

About Siliual(Sil-chan, or Silchi), the Sideways Intern

Sil-chan hasn't appeared yet, but she's the fifth member of Sideways. In real life, she's a freshman in high school, and she is an avid Inuyasha fan. I wrote on my blog once that her theme was "Change the World" from Inuyasha, and she's stuck with that theme since.^.^;;
